Crockfords prestige power poker rules
The Game
Prestige Power Poker is a fast, exciting game with multiple video poker
hands. The Prestige Power Poker machine will deal you up to ten hands,
each hand containing five cards. Prestige Power Poker is a contest between
you and the machine; the objective of the game is to finish with the highest
winning hands possible. This game is played using a separate 52-card deck
to deal each hand.
To Play the Game
To play the game the player must first place chips in the machine. To
do this the player should first click on the selected chip on the chip
selector found on the left hand side of the screen. Once a chip value
has been selected funds can be added by clicking on the chip deposit slot
on the machine. Each click will place one chip in the machine.
When the player selects their minimum and maximum bet limits, the player's
default coin value adopts the minimum bet amount. After the player has
inserted funds into the machine they must decide how many coins to play
on each hand (up to a maximum of five) by clicking on the coin selection
area of the console. The next step is for the player to select how many
hands they wish to play by clicking on either 'Play One' (more than one
hand can be selected by clicking more than once) or by clicking on 'Play
Ten' to play all ten hands.
To initiate the deal the player selects 'Deal'. Only the first hand is
dealt face up, the subsequent hands remain face down. When the cards are
dealt any winning combinations are automatically held, but the player
can choose to re-deal these cards by clicking on the card or the corresponding
'Hold' button. The player decides which cards to hold by clicking on the
'Hold' button beneath the cards they wish to keep. When a card is held,
all the corresponding cards in the other hands display an identical card,
e.g. If the player chooses to hold a King of hearts in card position one
on the first hand, then all other hands will display a King of hearts
in card position one.
Once the player has chosen the cards they wish to keep they select 'Deal'
and are dealt new cards in place of the cards that they did not hold.
The remaining cards for the other hands are now dealt face up; each hand
is dealt from a separate deck.
Player Options and Terminology
The player should take note of the following options to play the game
to its full potential.
Play One
By clicking on this button the player can play just one hand. By clicking
on the button again the player can play two hands and so on.
Play Ten
By clicking on this button the player can play ten hands.
Cash Out
By clicking on this button the player may remove their funds from the
Prestige Power Poker machine and place their money back into their account.
Note: The player must cash out before they can exit to another game or
return to the lobby.
Clear
This removes all cards from the table and resets the bet amount to zero.
Note. This button cannot be clicked after the 'Deal' option has been selected.
Payout
The table below shows the payout, in coins, for the winning hands. A similar
table can be found on the game screen. The winning hands will be paid
out according to the number of coins bet. The total amount won will depend
on the amount of coins bet per hand and the number of hands.
