Win / Place
Win bets operate on all races. Place bets operate on races that have 5 or more
runners.
You may choose a horse to win or just to be placed. More than one Win
and / or Place selection can be made in each race. The number of places
in a race varies with the number of runners.
Up to 4 runners Place betting is not available
5, 6 or 7 runners 2 place dividends (1-2)
8+ runners 3 place dividends (1-2-3)
16+ runner handicaps 4 place dividends (1-2-3-4)
Stakes: The minimum bet for an S.P. Win and / or Place bet is £1.
The minimum bet for a totewin or toteplace is £2.
In races of less than 5 runners or where a toteplace pool is not operated,
place bets are void.
Place only bets are not accepted at S.P.
